Cue: A driver has been jailed for life after deliberately running down a pedestrian in May in Halesowen. Nidal Alboraiki, aged 21, was ordered to serve a minimum term of 15 years for the murder of Ben Morse after being found guilty by a jury at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Cue: Investigations continue following three separate stabbings which took place in a 7-hour period in Birmingham Solihull over the weekend. Officers and paramedics arrived at the suspected knife attacks in the City Centre, Aston and Chelmsley Wood over Friday night and Saturday morning. None of the injuries sustained were fatal. Currently no arrests have been made. As a result, the scale of knife crime has increased by 70% between June and august in comparison to last year.

Cue: A new anti-rape campaign named No Means No has begun in Birmingham. Former Birmingham City University student Katie Hoare started the theatre based project to raise money for SAFELINE a UK rape victim support charity. (Clip)

Cue: A new art exhibition is due to open this Friday in Digbeth. The Arches project are hosting a hidden talent exhibition which will contain work from artists all across the country. The charity aims to help undiscovered artists by giving them a platform to share their work. One testimonial stated, Art saved my life, it's how I express my emotions, and The Arches Project is how I share it with the world.

Cue: The electric cinema has a special treat for visitors this Halloween. For its 108th year they will be showing saw, Thor and The Death of Starlin this evening. (clip)

Cue: A Birmingham city university society has begun yarn bombing around the city centre. Members of the group came together to cover both manmade and natural items in knitted creations. The events manager Anna Canopogee had this to say (Clip)

Script - Hello and welcome to the news at 3:30, I am Berneace Still.

Cue: A Police Hunt has begun for Driver who knocked down 80-year-old woman. The man suffered head injuries on Monday night just after midnight, after driver the car which was involved in a collision left the scene before police arrived. The elderly woman was a pedestrian who the driver collided with, and was later taken to Sandwell hospital. Police are still on the hunt for the driver.

Cue: The Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Anne Underwood, will lead the Remembrance Day Service and Parade this Sunday in Victoria Square. In celebration and remembrance of our fallen heroes, all of Birmingham is invited to observe the two-minute silence at 11 am on Sunday 12th. Prior to the minute silence, marching from Uniformed Contingents, members of the City Council and Bands will travel from Colmore Row to arrive at Victoria Square where a Roll of Drums and the playing of "The Last Post." The Salvation Army will lead the singing whilst the Lord Mayor will be wreath laying which will continue into a march onto Waterloo Street. Lord Mayor Anne Underwood entices us to "invite everyone to attend and pay tribute to the men and women of our Armed Forces who have lost their lives in service." Birmingham Remembers will also celebrate the achievements of women across the city, to mark 100 years since the Suffragettes won the right or women to vote and play an active part in public life.

Cue: Oasis, a unique Birmingham Market which had been open for over 46 years has sold 3/4 of its premises and is being turned into a cash and carry. A positive for the public as they are able to pick home essentials. However, it effects oasis shop owners as they now have less room to sell goods. The store also has been left like its closing down. negatively effecting business. Anthony who owns Glory days in Oasis says (Insert clip)

Cue: Julie Walters, famous actress who grew up in local Smethwick will be officially made Dame today at Buckingham palace for services to Drama. She has starred in films such as Billy Elliot and Harry Potter and will be named Dame commander of the order of the British Empire.

Cue: West Midlands Police have re-launched the cadet scheme today. The project closed back in 1988 and has been reopened by Commissioner David Jamieson, who announced last year that it would return as a key link between the force and the younger generation. The cadets scheme is one of the key projects being delivered by the new look People and Organisation Department, created as part of the WMP2020 modernisation programme for the force. Chris Thurley a scheme representative told us about the project (Insert clip)

Cue: Coming to Birmingham is the world's best bouncy castle. The Beast is an ultimate bouncy castle experience for adults. It opens on Friday 8th - Sunday 17th of December and is hosted in Birmingham's iconic NEC. The Beast is accompanied with the most mouth-watering street food, cocktails and craft beers also live DJs. This event is coming to the city of Birmingham directly from London's hugely successful sell out run at Alexandra Palace.

Cue: In sport David Moyes is appointed as the new Hammers Manager after Slaven bilic was sacked just a day ago. Raheem Sterling, Jordan Henderson and Harry Kane have all been ruled out of England's International friendlies against Germany and brazil.

In weather, today there are lows of 1 degree Celsius and highs of 10, with tomorrow having a similar pattern.

Th gold medal winning British inventor of the year appeared at a local Birmingham art exhibition last night. The Arches Project hosted a hidden talent exhibition on Friday night in Digbeth the celebrate artists from across the globe. The surprise guest speaker turned out to be Costas Constantino, who won British inventor of the year in November for inventing the Sparkle Wizard, the world's first hand held glass polisher. He spoke about his product whilst also expressing his love for Birmingham. (Insert Clip)
